
The article provides a method for the determination of electromagnetic parameters of asynchronous submersible electric motors (SEM) on the damping curve of the constant current recorded from a stationary rotor. The method is suitable for using both as in terms of electro-repair shops as directly on the surface of the multiple well platforms. The method has perspective of using in operation of SEM at landed depth of the well as part of electrical submersible pump units (ESP). The experimental results generally show a sufficient degree of adequacy of the method for determining the electromagnetic parameters of physical processes in asynchronous electric motors.
