
There are number of categories of flora and fauna on earth. Vegetation is important for the existence of life. Leafs are the essential part of this vegetation. It is important to recognize them so that we can preserve them for the future. Classification is a process to distinguish the leaf on the basis of features that are extracted from the leaf samples. In this paper different classification techniques based on NN, SVM, K-NN, and the hybrid approaches like SVM-BDT, DHGN using KNN, Incremental, Adaboost classifier are presented which has been used for leaf classification.
