Global sensitivity analysis applied to an hydrogenerator

Abstract

In this communication, a methodology based on a stochastic approach is proposed in order to characterize the effect of imperfections on the dimensions of a rotating electrical machine on on the time evolution of the signal of magnetic flux sensors. The methodology is based on an approximation of sparse polynomial chaos basis and Sobol indices to carry out the sensitivity analysis. It appears that this approach enables to segregate the most influential parameters.
