An ultra wideband hybrid dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) is presented in this paper. The aim from the design process is to get an ultra wide impedance bandwidth with stable radiation pattern through the operating frequency. CST simulation software is used to obtain the entire simulation results. The results illustrate that the proposed DRA has a 10 dB impedance bandwidth of 148.4 % from 6.2 GHz to more than 42 GHz.
