This article features RemoteX, which is an infrastructure to deliver power engineering laboratory experiments as objects over the Internet. It enables instructors, researchers and students to conduct and control actual experiments remotely through the Internet. Real-time relevant waveforms can be shown right in front of students so instructors can explain technical subjects and concepts better. In other words, equipment and instrumentation located elsewhere can be used to assist the classroom teaching of technical courses that are offered at other universities or teaching institutions.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 5 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Top 10% | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
