WIND tunnel testing of aircraft models can generate a multitude of transducer signal outputs which can take days to wire up to the receiving instrumentation (see fig. 1). It can take even longer to re‐wire for different tests to be performed. By using a programmable switching system, the Precision Filters 4096/4196, initial set‐up and re‐configuration can be reduced to a matter of seconds. This means significantly more up‐time for the expensive wind tunnel facility and the associated instrumentation, measuring greater throughput for the test facility.
