Based on a model of the early Universe with a relativistic Bose-Einstein condensate as the source of inflationary expansion, we calculate the gauge-invariant measure of the cosmological density perturbations caused by the zero-point fluctuations and excitations of the condensate. An approximate conservation law in the gauge-invariant perturbation formulation is used to estimate the magnitude of the perturbations at horizon reentry. The perturbations have a scale-invariant spectrum that depends on the condensate density, the mass, and the coupling constant.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 8 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
