It is shown that the method proposed by Wosiek [Phys. Rev. B 49, 15 023 (1994)] for the calculation of the order-disorder critical temperature, which turns out to be exact when the critical temperature is determined by symmetry properties like self-duality, is, when applied to a system of two coupled Ising planes, the lowest-order approximation in a hierarchy which appears to converge to the exact result.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 5 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
