We consider a charged spinless quantum particle moving on a two-dimensional square lattice. Each plaquette of the lattice is penetrated by a random magnetic flux with values homogeneously distributed in the interval (0, 2π) (in units of the elementary quantum flux h/e). The fluxes in different plaquettes are statistically independent. With the path integral method, within the saddle-point approximation, we evaluated the averaged density of states. Our results are compared with the recent numerical-simulation predictions of Pryor and Zee
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 6 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Top 10% | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
