The scope of the quasiclassical procedure previously used by us for estimating atomic-electron momentum densities exclusively from the knowledge of electron densities has been extended to diatomic molecules. This procedure yields spherically averaged molecular-electron momentum density from which the corresponding Compton profile and expectation values may be computed. The procedure has been tested for the molecules H/sub 2/ and N/sub 2/. The Compton profiles and values thus obtained compare well with their wave-functions and experimental counterparts.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 22 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Top 10% | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Top 10% |
