Neutron-proton scattering has been measured from 6 to 61.5° c.m. for neutrons of effective energy 105 ± 3 and 137 + 5 MeV using a liquid hydrogen scatterer and a large neutron counter. The results confirm previous measurements and show a near symmetry around 90° at 105 MeV, and a fairly definite asymmetry at 137 MeV. The ‘Serber force’ does not, therefore, give a good approximation to the experimental data at 137 MeV.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 21 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Top 10% | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Top 10% |
