Abstract

ABSTRACT The Mental Health First Aid course, from the National Council for Behavioral Health in partnership with the Missouri Department of Mental Health, is an 8-hour course that teaches participants how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. Sixteen PAs took the course and hope to build a PA network of MHFA trainers.
