Abstract

Abstract This chapter reviews the different options available for the settlement of investment disputes, describing their main advantages and disadvantages. Topics discussed include national courts, the ICSID system, institutionally supported arbitration other than ICSID or Additional Facility, the Permanent Court of Arbitration, diplomatic protection, and international courts and tribunals.
