Three species are discussed in this article: Monarthrum scutellare Lec. and M. detigerum Lee. infesting oaks and Gnathotrichus sulcatus Lee. infesting Douglas fir. Descriptions of the galleries and the ways in which they cultivate and feed on the fungus are given.
