Abstract

The field of curriculum is one of the most complex, difficult, comprehensive, and rapidly changing fields in education. The reasons for the complexity of the field stem from many sources. For one, many of the decisions that need to be made in building a curriculum depend on knowledge that comes from the behavioral sciences, especially psychology and sociology. But the kind of knowledge that is needed is seldom available.
