TIME is a vague term, hard to define accurately. It means different things to different persons. For example, we accept the fact that to adults, just as to children, the phrase "a long time ago" brings different concepts. Teachers of the social studies know that many expressions of time are made in vague and indefinite terms and that even history professors sometimes find it difficult to express to others what time means to them. How
