The Computation of the Length of Daylight in Hindu Astronomy

Abstract

Note on the illustrations. The facsimiles of the titlepages to the two volumes of Mein Kampf and of the preface to vol. I have been taken, with kind permission, from copies of the first edition in the Houghton Library, Harvard University. The first owner of that vol. I was JoS. SINNER, stud. ing., on Sept. I6, I925; a rubberstamped inscription made by the second owner reads: "Jung-Bann. Grossdeutscher Verband fur Jugendertichtigung e.B., Ortsgruppe Miinchen"; we read finally the signature of TILMAN LEHMKUHL. Vol. II bears only LEHMKUHL'S name with the date Sommer-Weihnachten I93I. Vol. I (xvi-392 p., I925) contains a portrait of ADOLF HITLER, the text is followed by facsimiles of 27 posters announcing HITLER'S lectures, the first being dated Nov. 19, I920. Vol. II (xi+354 p., I927) appeared two years after vol. I.
