Luminosity evolution and q/sub 0/ have been studied using infrared photometry of giant ellipitcal galaxies. Lack of evolution in infrared colors has been confirmed and a value of -0.05 +- 10.30 for q/sub 0/ has been derived from the K-magnitude Hubble diagram. A comparison of the q/sub 0/ = 0 line with the data indicates that luminosity evolution at redshifts larger than 0.5 may have been detected, with 1305+2952(z = 0.95) being a magnitude brighter.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 15 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Top 10% | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Top 10% |
