In the course of a survey for galactic-plane, ultraviolet-excess objects, two peculiar emission-lined stars have been detected. One is a newly discovered WC Wolf-Rayet star, designated KPD 0721+0042, which appears to be located in the galactic halo. This peculiar location, as well as the relatively narrow width of the emission lines, argues that the object is a "Population II" Wolf-Rayet star. The other object, MWC 84 = KPD 0415+5552, is a previously cataloged early-type star with strong Balmer and He I emission lines. The spectrum is dominated, however, by emissions of Fe II, and is similar to two previously-discussed bright stars with prominent Fe emission, although the strength of the He I lines in this object indicates that it is substantially hotter.
