</script>Collecting activities were continued during the summer months of 1938 in the mountains of Pike and Wayne Counties, Pennsylvania, where we have operated for several seasons in the past. About a month in all was spent in several visits, at intervals, from the end of May to the end of July, and in company with either Joseph H. Rispaud or John D. Thomas. During our last excursion, after a week of heavy rain followed by three days of moist, humid weather, we found an extraordinary situation with nearly every decaying log or other suitable habitat covered with the fruiting bodies. On the day of our arrival 57 species were found, and during this and earlier trips many interesting forms were collected. Five of these are mentioned in the later notes.
