Abstract A new distribution map is provided for Ips amitinus Eichh. (Col., Scolytidae). Host Plants: Larch, pine, spruce. Information is given on the geographical distribution in EUROPE, Austria, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Rumania, Switzerland, Yugoslavia, USSR.
