Two new species of the genus Parisia Holthuis are described (P. gracilis, sp. nov., and P. unguis, sp. nov.). The relationships of these species to each other, and to the previously described species of the genus are discussed. The relationships of the species of Stygiocaris Holthuis are considered, and the occurrence of freshwater subterranean decapods in Australia is discussed in general terms.
