The paper proposes a Power Supply Design for Electric Vehicles which contains two main sections: AC-DC rectification stage and a DC-DC conversion stage. Electric Vehicle fast-charging stations use Partial Power converter topology in DC-DC conversion stage. Partial power Converter processes a portion of the total power, rest being supplied directly to the battery. Vienna rectifier topology is used for the AC-DC rectification stage. The paper also discusses a generic battery model implemented as a load to the charger. The proposed power design system performances are verified through simulations and experimental results.
