Pure and cerium doped nickel oxide nanoparticles were prepared by hydrothermal method. Structural, optical, and morphological properties were studied by employing XRD, Raman, PL, and SEM analyses. The information about the functional group and chemical structure of the prepared sample was analyzed through FTIR. Electrochemical studies exhibited good specific capacitance value of 395 F/g at 10 mV/s for 6% of cerium doped nickel oxide electrodes.
