In this paper we used an interdisciplinary approach to make students more interested in science, to increase and apply their knowledge, to better understand complex processes and phenomena and to connect different fields of science (physics, astronomy, astronautics, biology, geography, psychology, pedagogy, programming, etc.). An interdisciplinary approach to teaching implies linking the contents of different disciplines into logical entities organized around one problem or theme within which the knowledge of different disciplines functions as a multifaceted illumination of the problem or topic being explored. We will explain the application of interdisciplinary approach on the example of the work we did with 24 high school students on the project “Exploration of Planet Mars”.
