The nucleon‐nucleon bremsstrahlung amplitude through order k depends on the NN wavefunction within the strong interaction volume and on the two‐body magnetic dipole moment, both of which are unknown. Meson exchange currents have bee included by several authors to account for parts of the magnetic moment. The wavefunction is of major interest. We show that the cross section at EL=200 MeV is very sensitive to unitary transformations of the Reid soft core wavefunction within 1.5 fm. Results are also shown at 42 MeV.
