In order to determine the role played by the hydrogen atoms in a-Si : H, short range order has been investigated using Exafs at the silicon K-edge. Emphasis has been put on topological disorder ; low temperature measurements allowed us to look at its variations. Concerning hydrogen, a non homogeneous distribution has been deduced and a 2-d or 1-d repartition consistent with both theoretical prediction and small angle neutron scattering data is proposed.

| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 7 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
