Abstract

“The factor analyses of four traits rated in different situations reveal at least two different general kinds of situations which affect the rating of traits. These are the ‘verbal’ and the ‘active’ situations. The factor analysis of the over-all rating of 10 traits suggests three general concepts which appear to be useful in the analysis of the behavior of individuals in a situation.
