
Polarography offers very many possibilities of application to fundamental problems of organic chemistry, only a part of which is widely recognized at present. One of the reasons for the still limited application is the complexity of the interpretation of the results which needs long periods of training. For enthusiastic newcomers, it is nevertheless a rewarding field, which bids fair promises to solve many kind of interesting problems.
