The Nambu - Jona-Lasinio model in 2+1 dimensions is simulated for non-zero baryon chemical potential with a diquark source term. No evidence for a BCS condensate or gap is seen at high density; rather, critical behaviour with novel exponents is observed, suggesting that 2d superfluidity as first described by Kosterlitz and Thouless is realised, but with the universality class determined by the presence of relativistic fermions.

| citations This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 2 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
