AbstractFeminism may be considered without any exaggeration as a high impact ideology in today's society. The present paper aims at analysing feminist terminology from the point of view of the philosophical and cultural anthropology, as well as Christian anthropology, particularly focusing on the aspects related to gender roles, and the manner of promoting gender equality. In this case, the paper's objective is to evince the dynamics of feminist arguments used in combating the traditional conceptions about the relations between men and women, without hesitating to put forward some of the latest philosophical and theological reactions whereby certain Western authors distance themselves from feminism.
