AbstractIn this study, critical thinking from quadruple thinking (caring, creative and hopeful thinking ways) is discussed. The etymology of the term, history of critical thinking, its dimensions and the supporting thinking ways are given in the study. Besides, the creative thinking is compared with nonjudgmental thinking. Finally, the quadruple thinking is shown in the relationships between critical thinking and other thinking ways (caring, creative and hopeful).
