
Cisplatin-based chemotherapy is widely used in the treatment of various solid tumors, including ovarian, lung, bladder, and testicular cancers. The anticancer property of cisplatin is not completely understood. Increasing evidence indicates that the pathophysiological mechanisms are multifaceted, involving oxidative stress, DNA damage, alterations in signaling pathways, and direct myocardial damage.
