Abstract Many analyses now rely upon jet substructure techniques; it is therefore paramount to understand the substructure of quark and gluon jets. However, there is still significant disagreement between Monte Carlo generators, especially in their modelling of gluon jets. Measurements of jet substructure variables are presented for regions enriched in quark and gluon jets. These measurements use data from proton-proton collisions at the CMS and ATLAS experiments with a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, and are compared to various predictions.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 1 | |
