The quenching of single prompt photon large transverse momentum spectra in central Au–Au collisions is computed in perturbative QCD at RHIC energy, S NN = 200 GeV , and compared with PHENIX data. Double inclusive γ – π 0 production is then addressed. The γ – π 0 momentum imbalance spectrum in Au–Au collisions is seen to be sensitive to parton energy loss processes, which would help to understand how the fragmentation dynamics is modified in nuclear collisions at RHIC.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 1 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
