The main purpose of this paper is to study the relationship between the generalized Hersch-Pfluger distortion function \(\varphi_{K}^{a}(r)\) and complete elliptic integrals of the second kind \({\mathcal E} (r)\), and to establish several new inequalities for \(\varphi_{K}^{a}(r)\) and \({\mathcal E} (r)\).
generalized modular equation, Generalized modular equation, generalized Hersch-Pfluger distortion function, Elliptic integrals, Generalized hypergeometric series, \({}_pF_q\), Generalized Hersch–Pfluger distortion function, Applied Mathematics, Elliptic integrals as hypergeometric functions, Gaussian hypergeometric function, elliptic integrals, Analysis

| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 32 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Top 10% | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Top 10% | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
