Abstract

Abstract: Introduction: The training of future specialists is part of our activity as medical professionals. In this formative process, the tutor has an important role.Using this study an attempt is made to determine the opinion of the residents about their tutors. Material and methods: The primary objective is to find out the opinion of dermatology residents about their tutors. Secondly, to measure the level of knowledge about the functions of their tutors, and the level of compliance in their respective services. A survey was carried out on dermatology residents from all over Spain. Results: Just under two-thirds (61.86%) of residents said they had no problem with their tutor. ‘Dedication Time’ is the most frequent proposal (45.36%). Conclusions: Although the perception of the activity of the tutors of dermatology by the residents themselves is good, the time dedicated to teaching is the most demanded improvement.
