An overview of results on top quark physics from Run 1 of the LHC is presented. The ATLAS and CMS experiments each recorded about 5 fb−1 of pp collision data at s=7 TeV and 20 fb−1 at s=8 TeV, allowing comprehensive studies of tt¯ and single top production, precise measurements of the top mass, and studies of top quark decays. The results are generally in impressive agreement with the predictions of the Standard Model.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 3 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
