AbstractOptical Long Baseline Interferometry (OLBI) combined with spectral resolution is capable to sounding the stratification of luminous star winds. In this paper we review some few, yet unique results obtained on P Cyg and Be stars from OLBI observations. We also examine the prospects for studying hot stars winds offered by optical synthesis arrays presently under construction.
