There has been since a few years an interest in the derivation of the optimality system of control problems involving an ill-posed state equation. Recently the authors have obtained new results concerning state-constrained problems of such type. We review and somewhat extend these results, and make a comparison with the case of problems without state constraints or with well-posed state equations.
