In this paper, wavelet based transient simulation is proposed for solving power electronics circuits. The wavelet domain equivalents of electrical circuit components are defined for solving the network to find currents and voltages of the nodes. During the computer simulations, a number of simulations are performed to obtain the best level of wavelet decomposition. The suggested technique is tested in ATP-EMTP to see the accuracy of the proposed techniques. MATLAB ™is used for modeling and required computer calculations.
