Abstract

Weight and cost reduction have been central issues in the automotive industry for many years. Against the background of the CO2 debate and rising safety requirements, these goals demand innovative solutions from automotive manufacturers and suppliers, above all in the weight-intensive body and chassis areas. ThyssenKrupp Umformtechnik has focused on development in this field.
