In this paper, the author establishes the equivalence between the general resolvent equations and variational inequalities. This equivalence is used to suggest and analyze a number of iterative algorithms for solving variational inclusions. The author also studies the convergence criteria of the iterative algorithms. The results include several previously known results as special cases.
convergence, resolvent equations, iterative algorithms, Spectral, collocation and related methods for boundary value problems involving PDEs, Quadratic programming, Variational inequalities, variational inclusions, variational inequalities

| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 5 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Top 10% | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Top 10% |
