On demontre dans ce travail que le minimun du coefficient de voussure pour des populations finies, et d'extensionn, vaut l'unite, quandn est pair et\(\frac{{n^2 + {\text{ 3}}}}{{n^2 {\text{ - 1}}}}\) cuandn est impair. Les deux quantites sont atteintes quand la population se compose de deux valeurs avec frequencesn/2, dans le premier cas et\(\frac{n}{2}{\text{ }} - {\text{ }}\frac{1}{2},{\text{ }}\frac{n}{2}{\text{ + }}\frac{1}{2}\) dans le second.
