Production, market and consumption are specific characteristics of each country, features that are acquired during centuries as result of having very different historical paths. Romania is a historical part of countries with substantial economical discrepancy. In that particular context, it is shown that the strategies of production development and of consumption improvement must take care of economical and social particularities. There are presented and analyzed some concrete information regarding the evolution of production, market and consumption during the transition period Romania is now experienced.
