Eramosa is a first early maturing potato cultivar, producing marketable yields comparable to Superior and Jemseg in early harvest trials in Ontario, Canada. Eramosa has produced marketable yields in the range of 15–25 tonnes per hectare in 75–80 days from planting. Tubers are blocky, smooth, semi-flattened with shallow eyes, and have white skin and flesh. Boiling and baking quality is acceptable and specific gravity is similar to Jemseg in early harvest trials (average of 1.070). Field chip quality is acceptable although generally not as light in colour as Superior or Conestoga. Eramosa has good field tolerance to PLRV but it is susceptible to PVY. Eramosa is moderately resistant to scab.
