A new species of cymothoid Isopoda,Nerocila donghaiensis, collected from the body of a sciaenid fish,Johnius sp., is described in the present paper. The new species can be distinguished from the other species of genusNerocila by its endopod of uropods with deep notch, sharply serrated on the lateral margin and strongly serrated on the medial margin; antennule with 1st article swollen; dactyli of pereopods I, II, IV, V swollen.
