A single-particle model is used for the calculation of the charge form factor of6Li in Born approximation. Very satisfactory overall fit to elastic-electron-scattering data is observed with three adjustable parameters, but very large theoretical ambiguities exist at high momentum transfers, which should affect at least the best-fit values. The value of 〈r′〉ch1/2 obtained (2.457 fm) compares very well with the model-independent one (2.51±0.1) fm.
