An attempt is made to find the parton distribution function consistent with the multiperipheral parton model using the following fundamental assumptions: each parton gives the same contribution to the distribution function, and each multiperipheral diagram satisfies the complete factorization, The one-parton distribution function is obtained and applied to electron-hadron deep inelastic scattering. Good agreement with experiment was obtained for the proton but not for the neutron. (LBS)
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
