Properties of simple Lie algebras of rank three, are investigated in view of physical applications; more precisely, dimensions, weight diagrams, decompositions with respect to regular subalgebras and decomposition of products of representations are given for the lowest order irreducible representations; we also explain somme techniques to deal with these problems even in the case of higher rank algebras.

| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 4 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
